Here’s my second attempt at making cauliflower rice. My first attempt was a little too involved, but this time I adapted this recipe from Elana’s Pantry. This version doesn’t require you to nuke the cauliflower and then fry it. Any way I can save steps is fricking awesome when I’m trying…
Hey guys…I am so tired of making salads for lunch. For the most part I’m 90% plant based and 10% occasional fish or eggs. I also don’t do dairy. I need something easy to make. I have about 15mins every morning. Any suggestions? or blogs to follow?
I made this last night for today…
* brussell sprouts
* onion
* TJ frozen bell peppers
* garlic
* 1/2 c of cooked quinoa
* spicy mrs dash
* 1T of balsamic vinegar
Brussell sprouts, onion, peppers and garlic all cooked with organic olive oil spray. Quinoa cooked in a rice cooker.
So I have noticed, while searching for new blogs to follow, that a lot of vegans and veggies are totally unhealthy. I’m so not either but i eat primarily a plant based diet. On occasion I will eat fish but I hate labels. I would say 95% of my diet is plant based. Anyway…it’s really gross to see how much processed foods go into vegans and vegetarians. They say they are healthier but wtf?!!? And I would say the majority of people that are jumping on the vegan/vegetarian band wagon are not doing it for animal rights but for dietary reasons…ie to lose weight.
I might be offending a few people but I was a full vegetarian for over a decade…no eggs. I did it for treatment of animals. I didn’t care that my friends ate meat and still don’t but I believe people should consume free range organic or wild seafood. I still stand by this.
ok I really think that it’s dumb that people are turning vegan/vegetarian just to lose weight…really? wow. didn’t think being vegan was a diet plan….just saying!
